We offer regular CPR and First Aid Classes at our training facility the second Saturday of every month except December.
Second Saturday Class Schedule
Heartsaver First Aid (9:30 am -12:30 pm) Instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrives. Students learn duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers; first aid actions for medical emergencies, including severe choking, heart attack, and stroke, as well as skills for handling injuries and environmental emergencies, including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, and bites and stings.
Heartsaver CPR AED (1:30 pm – 4:30 pm) Instructor-led course that teaches adult and child CPR and AED use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. This course teaches skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.
Hands-Only CPR (4:30 pm – 5:00 pm) Hands-Only CPR is CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by people who see a teen or adult suddenly collapse in an “out-of-hospital” setting (such as at home, at work or in a park). This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who does not need a course completion card in CPR and AED use but would like to learn the basic of saving a life.
On-site instruction is also available at your organization for Sudden Cardiac Arrest prevention and hands-only CPR classes. All of these programs are provided free of charge. Minimum 1 month notice to schedule on-site class, subject to availability.
